With approximately 2,000 multifamily units under management, the Firm’s acquisition strategy focuses on value-add and distress opportunities. Our value-add strategy seeks assets with stabilizing cash flows and upside opportunity through organic rent increases, asset repositioning, and property management optimization. Through our distress strategy, we seek to partner with Sponsors and Lenders to optimize for operational performance, creative capital restructuring, or both. Our company is involved in all stages of the investment process including deal sourcing, acquisitions & dispositions, conducting due diligence, sourcing debt and equity, and property, asset, and construction management.

Mark McGregor
Mark recently spearheaded the capital markets efforts at Relevant Group, an opportunistic real estate developer based in Los Angeles. His group oversaw the acquisition and debt/equity financing of their development portfolio which included over $1.0 billion of hotel and multifamily assets. The multifamily division consisted of workforce and market rate housing and had over 700 units in development. Prior to Relevant, he was Managing Director at RBC Capital Markets in New York, where he founded the European Equity group in North America and was a member of the European Management committee. Prior to RBC, Mark was Senior Vice President at Macquarie Capital in New York and a member of their European Equity group. He began his career in finance at Ernst & Young on their Transaction Advisory Services team in New York. He has an MBA from the University of Miami, a Finance degree from University of Central Florida and held FINRA registrations Series 24, 7 and 63.
Jonathan Tauber

Jonathan previously was the Director of Asset Management at Decron Properties, a vertically-integrated real estate owner/operator based in Los Angeles. He was responsible for driving the financial strategy, active management, and analysis for the Residential and Commercial platforms, consisting of over 9,000 units and one million square feet, respectively, in addition to overseeing all commercial leasing activity. In the last two years, he played an integral role in approximately $2.5 billion of real estate transactions. Prior to Decron, Jonathan was a Vice President at JP Morgan. He brings over 10 years of experience in investment banking, finance, and operations, having lived and worked in New York, São Paulo, and Los Angeles. Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a Finance concentration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and received his MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business.

Hunter Hagdorn Headshot
Hunter previously served as a Development Associate at Hanover Company, a vertically integrated multi-family development firm based in Houston, Texas with over $20B in project capitalizations. During his four-year tenure, he focused on several of Hanover’s site acquisition and development efforts throughout the Northeast, consisting of over $1.5 billion in project capitalization across over 3,500 apartment homes.
 
Hunter is a native of Houston and earned his Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College, where he was a letterman on the football team.
